Who manufactures and installs the doors?

All of Canning Vale Security Doors’ products are manufactured and installed by Safeway Security Screens, a local family-owned security door manufacturing and installation company.

Why use Safeway Security Screens?

Safeway is a family owned and operated business and has been established for over 28 years. Safeway has the experience and expertise to provide quality products at reasonable prices, installed in a timely manner. The business is a true family business employing sons, granddaughters, grandsons, nephews, son in laws and friends of the family.

What products are available?

The main products are security doors and screens. Safeway offer Secureview T316 Marine Grade stainless steel mesh security screens and doors, Xceed Perforated Aluminium security doors and Diamond Grille security doors to suit all budgets.

What areas do you service?

We service all Perth metro areas from Safeway’s Canning Vale, Malaga and O’Connor factories.

When can you come and quote?

Demand for security products is seasonal, so there are busy times and others times that are quieter. Typically Safeway can be on site within 1 – 5 days after initial contact. The Quote team are available from Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 4:30pm. If these times do not suit you, please advise us and we shall work out a suitable time.

What is the time frame for installation of a security screen or door?

Demand is seasonal, but you can typically expect your security doors or screens to be installed within 1 to 3 weeks after you accept our quote.

Do you offer discount on large jobs?

Yes. You can discuss this in detail with your security consultant. Typically when quoting on securing an entire house, including all doors and opening windows, you will receive a 10% discount.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Credit Cards, Cash, Cheques or Direct Deposit. Payment is due upon installation. No deposit is required.

Do you have interest free payment terms?

Yes! On any sale of $3000 or more a 1/3 deposit is paid and the balance is paid in equal monthly instalments over 6 months. Safeway underwrite the payment terms themselves, so no finance company is involved.

What colours are available?

There are in excess of 180 powder coat colours to choose from. Your Security Consultant will have an up-to-date colour chart for you to browse through.

What are the Australian Standards?

All our doors are tested to the latest Australian Standards, 5039, 5040-1 and 5041. These standards ensure our security doors are strong enough to withstand a reasonable amount of force and duress, so not to allow unwanted visitors to gain access to your property. Your security consultant will have more information on these standards.

What locks do you use?

All hinged doors use Lockwood Locks and sliding doors are fitted with Whitco Saw-Tooth Triple locks.

Do you use contractors or employees to install?

Safeway Security only use full time employees.

How long has your business been established?

Safeway has been established for over 28 years. Barry Bradshaw, the owner, has been in the security door business for over 35 years.

What type of stainless steel mesh do you use?

Safeway use Secureview T316 Marine Grade Stainless Steel Woven Mesh.

How are your security screens fitted?

Safeway DON’T use cheap, easy to remove pop rivets. All external screws are stainless steel tamper proof. Only licensed Security companies have access to the tool required to remove the tamper proof screws.

Our doors need to meet the local council’s Swimming Pool regulations. Can you make doors to meet these regulations?

Each council has different requirement, so first Safeway will need you to provide the list of what they want done. Typically, Safeway can meet these regulations.
